I took this photograph in New Zealand in 2018 at the Huka Lodge, just near the Huka Falls in on the Waikato River that drains Lake Taupo in New Zealand. The Silver fern is a species of tree fern, endemic to New Zealand and is known as New Zealand's icon. The underside has an incredible almost metallic silver colour. With the use of the shadows of the fern tree's foliage as a dark backdrop and some bright sunshine on the underneath of the fern's frond, I was able to capture an almost black & white image.
My recommendation for this photo is the either the Glossy Ultra HD or the Matt Acrylic for a modern clean-edged look, or a colour Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl Photo Paper print (to retain the gentle colour on the central vein).
